Teeny's Cottage is an original stone walled cottage built in the 19th Century. Completely refurbished, extended, and awarded the Visit Scotland 4 Star Quality Assurance rating. Teeny's Cottage is a very comfortable base for your self catering holiday on the beautiful Isle of Skye. The cottage can accommodate up to 4 people, plus a cot and highchair is available for a baby. Teeny's Cottage is a no smoking, and no pets facility.
Situated twelve miles west of Portree, the capital of the Isle of Skye, Teeny's Cottage is set in a quiet, peaceful and rural location, well back from the road with ample private parking and a patio.
The dining room is a lovely place to sit. Light and airy, with lovely views across the surrounding hills, and out to sea across Loch Snizort, with the Outer Hebrides on the horizon.
The main bedroom has a king size double bed, and two single beds in the second bedroom. The bed linen is 100% Cotton. The shower room has a powerful pumped shower in a spacious double sized enclosure.
The lounge has two couches with views out to sea. A Samsung 32 inch Smart TV with many free-view and Internet channels. A Blu-Ray DVD/CD player, plus a stereo music/radio system with an iPod dock. Free wifi broadband wireless Internet access for your laptop, tablet or smart phone.
The modern fitted kitchen has a fridge, oven, hob, microwave and washing machine. There’s a good stock of utensils; pots, pans, cutlery, plates, glasses etc. A coffee bean grinder and cafetiere is also provided for you coffee lovers.
All towels and linen are provided.
With oil fired central heating throughout and double glazed windows, Teeny's Cottage will keep you cosy whatever time of year you choose your holiday.
You can spend all day exploring Skye's beautiful scenery, and gaze across Loch Snizort from the comfort of the cottage in the evenings. If you are going to, or returning from the Outer Hebrides, the ferry port of Uig is only a 30 minute drive away.
